Tini, the Argentine singer born Martina Stoessel, went from teen telenovela star to one of Latin America's most streamed female artists in a remarkably short span. Her title role in Disney Channel's Violetta turned her into a genuine pan European teen phenomenon, but she shed that image with purpose. Her 2020 album Tini Tini Tini, loaded with Latin trap and reggaeton, became the best selling album by a woman in Argentine history and earned a double diamond certification from the CAPIF. From there she kept pushing. Cupido, released in 2023 on Sony Music Latin, blended urbano and cumbia and landed her three consecutive number ones on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100. It also made her the first Argentine woman to chart on the Billboard Global 200. Her 2024 alternative pop album Un Mechón de Pelo, driven by personal struggles and media scrutiny, gave her the number one single Pa, and a guest spot on We Pray that same year made her the first Argentine woman to appear on the US Billboard Hot 100.
