Tiziano Ferro is one of Italy's biggest pop exports, a singer and songwriter from Latina whose debut single 'Xdono' turned into a runaway hit after a slow start, eventually topping the Italian Singles Chart in 2001 and setting off a career that has now crossed 20 million records sold worldwide. What sets him apart from the average pop act is his genuine range: he records Spanish versions of all his albums, has sung in English, Portuguese, and French, and has built a serious parallel career writing and producing for other Italian artists including Giusy Ferreri, Alessandra Amoroso, and Baby K. His third and fourth albums, Nessuno è solo and Alla mia età, both earned diamond certification in Italy, and his fifth album L'amore è una cosa semplice was the country's best selling record of 2012.
