About
Jean Tonique and Mi Man have been making music together as Tonique since 2022, blending analogue synthesizers, warm arrangements and layered vocal harmonies into something that sits between relaxed disco and contemporary pop. Think the Bee Gees filtered through a French Touch sensibility. Their debut album Opening Soon came out in 2023, and their second record Where We're At pushes the sound further: smoother grooves, softer disco textures and a touch of slacker pop, with more space given over to intimacy and vocals. The duo describe it as a more mature and confident step forward.
