About
Toon Tellegen is a Dutch writer known for stories and poems that sit somewhere between the playful and the profound. He has collaborated over the years with fellow writer Tonnus Oosterhoff and musician Albert van Veenendaal, who plays prepared piano, performing together in various combinations. Their work together tends to produce results that are by turns funny, unexpected, and occasionally moving. In live settings, Tellegen brings his stories and poems into a shared space with improvised music, making each performance its own thing rather than a straightforward reading.
