About
Tophouse is a five piece of bearded guys who started out as street musicians, playing every corner of Montana before relocating to Nashville. Their lineup leans on mandolin, fiddle and kick drum, which gives the whole thing a stomping, old timey feel. The band honed their own sound in Nashville and went on to sell out rooms across the United States. What sets them apart is that they don't just revisit the past. They take the rootsy charm of bluegrass, folk and Americana and dress it up in a poppier outfit, with big, catchy choruses at the centre. It works just as well around a campfire or on a street corner as it does on a proper stage.
