About
Also known as: TREASURE 13, 트레저
Treasure came out of a survival reality show, YG Treasure Box, and went on to post one of the fastest selling debut runs in K pop. Their four part The First Step series, kicked off in 2020 with the single album Chapter One, passed one million copies in just five months. The lead single "Boy" hit 10 million YouTube views within 26 hours and later became their first video to reach 100 million. The Seoul group, formed by YG Entertainment, now stands at ten members after Mashiho and Bang Ye dam left in late 2022. They have also built a real presence in Japan. They sang "Beautiful" for the anime Black Clover, then put out a Japanese debut album that topped the Oricon weekly chart with over 57,000 sales in its first week. Not everything is written by others either: "Orange", a B side on the third First Step release, was their first self produced track, written by Asahi.
