About
Also known as: トリプルS, 트리플에스
tripleS is a 24 member K pop group built around one big idea: the fans run the show. Formed by Modhaus in Seoul, the group is meant to be the world's first decentralized idol act, with members rotating between the full group, sub units and solo work, all chosen by fan votes. Supporters take part through NFT photo cards called Objekts, which also give them a say in sub units and content. Each member is said to have a special ability called SSS, which plays out in a fresh "Dimension" every season. They officially debuted in February 2023 with the EP Assemble and its title track "Rising". Sub units came fast: Acid Angel from Asia made their debut with Access, which hit No. 1 on the iTunes US K POP album chart, and Krystal Eyes followed with Aesthetic and the single "Cherry Talk". The LOVElution unit brought "Girls' Capitalism", and the group has kept the music videos coming since, including "Girls Never Die", "Hit the Floor" and "Are You Alive".
