About
Two Lanes is a Berlin based brother duo who blend acoustic piano recordings with analogue synthesizers and electronic beats. The combination gives them a sound that moves fluidly between electronica and melodic techno, with a warmth rooted in classical piano sitting alongside more synthetic textures. One half of the duo, Leo, developed a deep affinity for piano and studied the work of composers such as Bach, Schumann and Debussy. The other half, Rafaël, came to the project from a different angle, spending long hours exploring sound design and music production. Their EP Innervision pushes at the borders between genres, and the duo has built a fanbase that stretches well beyond their home city.
