About
Two People were a British pop rock duo, Mark Stevenson on lead vocals and guitar, and Noel Ram on guitar and vocals, who made their mark in the mid 1980s with a handful of sharp singles on Polydor Records. They landed two minor UK chart entries with "This Is the Shirt" and "Heaven", appeared on BBC Radio 1 In Concert in 1985, and worked with producers Nigel Gray, Neil O'Connor and Chris Porter. Despite solid promotion, the singles fell short of expectations and the label dropped them before an album ever appeared. It is one of those cases where the recorded output hints at something that never quite got the chance to fully land. After the band folded, Noel Ram moved into dance production, remixing and producing throughout the 1990s.
