About
Ultimo holds a pretty remarkable record: the youngest singer in Italy to play a stadium. In 2019 he filled Rome's Olympic Stadium with more than 63,000 people, then announced a run of stadium dates that sold over 120,000 tickets in its first 24 hours. That came not long after he won the Newcomers category at Sanremo 2018 with "Il ballo delle incertezze", and a year later he came back in the Big Artists section and finished second with "I tuoi particolari". His albums keep refusing to leave the charts. Pianeti, Peter Pan and Colpa delle favole all climbed higher long after release, and in 2021 he had four albums in the annual chart at once. In 2020 he left his label to start his own, Ultimo Records. His catalogue now runs through Solo, Alba, Altrove and Il giorno che aspettavo, and he returned to Sanremo in 2023, placing fourth.
