About
Unhinged is a burlesque show built for people who like their glitter with a side of heavy guitars. It's billed as burlesque for the wild at heart, and the acts lean hard into hard rock and metal: showgirls, flying hair, striptease and plenty of attitude. The tone is seductive, gritty and a little dangerous. Each edition works around a theme, and the acts often draw on rituals, both modern ones and ones that are centuries old, pulled from different traditions. Think ceremonial, dark and magical, with a good dose of rock and roll thrown over the top. The evenings tend to finish with an afterparty where a DJ keeps the headbanging and dancing going once the show is over.
