Vini Vici (IL)

About

Vini Vici are the Israeli psytrance duo of Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh, both originally from Afula. The two had already been making music together for over a decade before rebranding as Vini Vici in 2013, having built a cult following in the psytrance underground as part of the trio Sesto Sento. Their first Vini Vici album, Future Classics, put them on the global map thanks to the track "The Tribe", which crossed 11 million Spotify streams and caught the ear of EDM DJs who dragged it out of the underground and into the mainstream. Their remix of Hilight Tribe's "Free Tibet" racked up more than 94 million YouTube plays, and their 2016 collaboration with Armin van Buuren and Hilight Tribe on "Great Spirit" hit a million plays within a week. They have since worked with Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, while running their own label Alteza Records through Armada Music. They have played the main stage at Tomorrowland and headlined Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
