About
Vinzzent is a Dutch singer songwriter from Winterswijk whose biggest moment came with Dromendans, a 2010 cover of Kurt Darren's Bloubergstrand se sonsak that climbed to number 7 on the Single Top 100. Before recording, he built his chops as a studio technician working with Dutch artists, and it was Rob de Nijs who handed him his first real stage moment at the Royal Theatre Carré. That same year he entered the Dutch National Songfestival for Eurovision selection, won the public vote, but was passed over by the professional jury in favour of Sieneke. He ended up sitting on the jury himself instead. His debut album Een zomer lang verliefd came out in 2007, and the distinctive double z spelling of his stage name was a deliberate trick to make him easy to find online.
