About
Voicepassion is the duo of Welsh singer Lauren Francis and German musician Franz Garlik, and their thing is Celtic and Nordic storytelling set to music. They draw on the soundtracks of series like Outlander, Vikings and The Last Kingdom, mixing centuries old Celtic melodies with modern Nordic pop songs. Francis sings and narrates in the language of her ancestors, telling stories from the historical eras the music comes from. Garlik builds the atmospheric soundscape around her. Their shows pair the music with specially designed video projections, taking the audience on a trip through Norwegian fjords, Holy Island, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, including the filming locations of Outlander.
