About
Walt Wilkins is a Texas singer songwriter whose name carries well beyond the state line, even if he's far too modest to make a fuss about it. His songs have been recorded by other artists, with Ricky Skaggs and Kenny Rogers among those who covered them, and he's the kind of musician people call on because he knows American song culture inside out. He first played the Netherlands in 2008 and has kept coming back ever since, to the point where he thinks of it as a second home. Over the years he's built a tight, well rehearsed working partnership with guitarist Bill Small and Dutch multi instrumentalist Bart de Win. All three have plenty of albums of their own, but audiences kept asking for a record that captured what the trio sounds like on stage, so they finally made a live one.
