About
Wanda is an Austrian band that has always felt at home in the extremes of life, with a bohemian streak and a soft spot for romance. Their sound mixes rock, pop and punk, then gives it a vintage twist so it never sounds quite like anything modern. Off stage, they have spent years speaking up for sustainability and pushing back against social inequality. The band went through a rough stretch of personal loss and grief, and they found comfort and a renewed sense of joy by writing new music. That mix of heartache and appetite for life runs through what they do.
