Wasia Project

About

Wasia Project is a sibling duo made up of Olivia Hardy and Will Gao, who blend classical influences with pop, soul and electronic music in a way that feels genuinely seamless. Their debut album 'Nocturne' circles around themes of self reflection, identity, isolation and human connection, shaped by the experience of growing up in a digital world. The sound is cinematic and the production is inventive, which has helped them build an international following fairly quickly. Rooted in Cape Town, South Africa, they bring a distinctly personal storytelling sensibility to music that still feels wide open and expansive.
