Seoul trio wave to earth blend soft indie rock with jazz touches in a way that has quietly built them a devoted international following, mostly through streaming. The band, made up of vocalist and guitarist Daniel Kim, drummer Dong Q, and bassist John Cha, put out their debut single in 2019 and spent the next few years releasing EPs before dropping their first full studio album, 0.1 Flaws and All., in 2023. That record splits neatly into two halves: side A is warm and affectionate, centred on love for bandmates and friends rather than romance, while side B goes darker, wading into heartbreak and desire. Their influences are all over the place in the best way, with the members drawing from Radiohead, Tame Impala, King Krule, Bon Iver and Oasis, among others. A second studio album, Play with Earth! 0.03, followed in 2024, and a sold out North American tour showed just how far their bedroom pop sound has travelled.
