About
Also known as: Domi
We Are Domi started out as a one off backup band for a college examination concert in Leeds back in 2016, and somehow never stopped. The trio, made up of Czech American vocalist Dominika Hašková, Norwegian guitarist Casper Hatlestad, and Norwegian keyboardist Benjamin Rekstad, plays a brand of electropop that earned them a spot representing the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. Their entry "Lights Off" won the Czech national selection ESCZ 2022 with 21 points, and at the contest itself they closed the second semi final and finished fourth to qualify for the grand final. One fun side note: Hašková is the daughter of legendary ice hockey goalkeeper Dominik Hašek. The band has been based in Prague since 2020, and their most recent release is "If I'm Honest" from 2025.
