About
Yade Lauren's debut album Reflecties turned out to be a long runner: it stayed in the Dutch Album Top 100 for 190 weeks without a break. The success carried over to the stage too, with sold out shows in Paradiso and AFAS Live. Her music sits in the reggae and dancehall corner, and she comes from Rosmalen in the Netherlands. After that run she deliberately stepped back and took her time making new music, with herself in the creative director role for the whole process. More than six years on, that work became her second album, Ms. Lauren.
