About
Yonder Boys sit right where Americana, bluegrass and folk overlap, and they like to push at the edges of all three. The lineup is traditional: banjo, dobro, mandolin, guitar and upright bass. What they do with it is their own thing, with plenty of room for experimenting both on record and on stage. Vocals are a big part of the appeal. The band loves layered singing and builds lush three part harmonies into their songs. They put out a debut EP in 2018, followed by the album Acid Folk in 2020, and have toured widely across Europe, playing some of the bigger bluegrass and folk festivals along the way. A second album, A Makeshift Family, came out in August 2025.
