About
Yori Devi Swart, who goes by Yori, is a Noord Holland based singer songwriter whose music sits somewhere between indie pop and folk. She won the Grote Prijs van Nederland in the singer songwriter category and was named a Serious Talent by 3FM, which quickly put her on bigger stages as a support act for Agnes Obel, Tim Knol, Wende Snijders and De Dijk. Beyond her own records, she has written songs for Roxeanne Hazes, Bente, Maan and Meau, and spent time on the road as guitarist and vocalist in Ilse DeLange's band. Her discography includes the EP 'Wanna Be So High' and the single 'Don't Keep Me Waiting'. A graduate of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, she completed both a pop music degree there and a later master's programme, finishing in 2015. New material, including a single and an album, is currently in the works.
