About
Also known as: ヤングパシ, 영파씨
Young Posse are a five member K pop girl group from Seoul who came out swinging with a hip hop flavoured debut EP, Macaroni Cheese, in October 2023. The group, made up of Sunhye (the leader), Yeonjung, Jiana, Doeun and Jieun, sits under DSP Media and is co produced by the independent label Beats Entertainment. Their name plays on the Latin word for 'be able to', basically a young crew gathered with a purpose. They've kept a steady release pace since, dropping the EPs XXL and Ate That in 2024, plus a remix album, We Still Loading, to mark their first anniversary. The remix of Posse Up even pulled in NSW Yoon, Token and Verbal Jint. Collaborations are a running thread: John Park on the Christmas single Street Carol, 10cm on the special album Cold, and Chinese rapper Benzo on Lose Your Shxt. More recently they've put out the Growing Pain Pt.1: Free EP and the singles Visa / Pilot3 and We Don't Go to Bed Tonight.
