About
Also known as: Yves Van Geertsom
Antwerp's Yves V, born Yves Van Geertsom, has built his name as one of Belgium's most recognisable faces in electronic and house music. His remix "Insane Pressure" got things rolling back in 2009, and he followed it up with a string of collaborations: "Madagascar" with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and Angger Dimas, "Cloudbreaker" with Basto, and "Old Skool Sound" with Chuckie, among others. In 2015 he landed at number 34 in the DJ Mag Top 100, making him only the second Belgian to crack the top forty at that point. He's been a resident DJ at Tomorrowland for years, hosting his own V Sessions stage there since 2012 and performing on the mainstage eight times. "Wait Till Tomorrow" with Regi featuring Mitch Crown turned into a proper summer hit in 2014, and in 2019 he teamed up with Afrojack and Icona Pop for "We Got That Cool", which climbed to number four on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in the US.
