Simplon is a live music venue in Groningen located at Boterdiep 69, a five minute walk from the city center. Operating for over 30 years, the venue occupies a former raincoat factory that was converted into a youth cultural space before undergoing major renovation to become a pop music hall. It hosts diverse musical genres including pop, rock, metal, hip hop, urban, punk and house music.

1UP closes out the 25/26 season at Simplon Groningen with a live band performance by Tays, who blends dreamy melodies with hip-hop beats, and a set from Oxar, who combines synthesizers and rap to explore themes of society, loneliness and uncertainty. The evening also features the Ultimate Hitster Tournament hosted by kidnapthedj and sets from the Simplon UP DJ crew.
