About Amaris Quartet
The Amaris Quartet is a young Amsterdam based string quartet with a clear affinity for the great chamber music repertoire. In one of their programmes they take on Schubert's fourteenth string quartet, the work known as Death and the Maiden, built around the melody from his 1817 song of the same name.
