About Ben van den Dungen Trio
Ben van den Dungen Trio takes its cues from a philosophy that jazz should be danceable and carry the blues within it, a sentiment once voiced by Art Blakey. The trio plays without a piano, and Ben van den Dungen sees that stripped back format as a feature rather than a limitation.
