TivoliVredenburg is a contemporary music complex situated in the centre of Utrecht, Netherlands, featuring five acoustically distinct halls designed for a variety of genres including symphonic, pop, jazz, chamber music, and dance. Opened in 2014 as a merger of the former Tivoli Oudegracht and Muziekcentrum Vredenburg, the venue attracts around 1.3 million visitors per year.
About Erik Bosgraaf
Few classical musicians have done more to prove the recorder is a serious instrument than Erik Bosgraaf. The Dutch player has an unusually wide range, moving from Jacob van Eyck and Vivaldi through to Pierre Boulez, a transcription of whose clarinet piece Dialogue de l'ombre double Boulez personally authorized.
