Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.

Chicago's Friko built their reputation on a debut album that caught serious attention fast. Where We've Been, Where We Go from Here landed in early 2024 with KCRW naming the track "Get Numb To It!" their top tune of the day, and Pitchfork putting the record on their must listen list.
