About Izaline Calister
Izaline Calister blends the calypso rhythms and musical traditions of her native Curaçao with jazz, a combination that feels genuinely hers rather than a novelty act. She sings primarily in Papiamentu, working with rhythms, ballads and dance songs she has composed or arranged herself.
