About Los Mirlos
Los Mirlos, whose name means "the Blackbirds", are one of the great names in Peruvian jungle cumbia. The founders brought their sound from Moyobamba in the Peruvian Amazon to Lima in 1972, and Infopesa signed them the very next year. They went on to put out nine albums and two compilations with that label.
