About Mehmet Polat Quartet
Mehmet Polat Quartet is built around the oud player and composer Mehmet Polat, who pairs his instrument with piano, double bass and drums. The result is jazz that borrows freely from Eastern European, Asian, Balkan and Mediterranean traditions, without settling into any single one of them.
