De Oosterpoort has been Groningen's main music venue since 1973, offering an internationally renowned stage for pop, classical music, and performing arts. It is the home of the Noord Nederlands Orkest and hosts major festivals such as Eurosonic Noorderslag, presenting over 600 performances for more than 240,000 visitors each year.
About Omasta
Omasta is a Krakow band that plays jazz with a hip hop pulse. Their sound is built on thick drums and deep, heavy bass, with piano, trumpet, saxophone and flute weaving melodies over the top. The name comes from a regional Krakow dialect word for fat added to food for flavour, which suits music this rich and saturated.
