Paard is a cultural and social venue in The Hague that opened on October 21, 1972, originally named Paard van Troje. Established as a youth center by activists with support from local government and the youth project Ruimte, it was housed in a former girls' boarding school on Prinsegracht. The venue served as a meeting place for The Hague's young people, offering support and advice alongside cultural programming and community engagement through visitor councils.
About PAUW
PAUW is a Dutch neo psychedelic group built around Rens Ottink and Brian Pots. Their sound pulls from the spirit of the 1960s and 70s while staying firmly rooted in the present, and that balance earned them nominations for both an Edison and a 3FM Award.
