Rotown opened in 1987 as a rock and roll venue in Rotterdam. Today it hosts live bands and DJs across various music genres beyond rock and roll. The venue operates as both a concert hall and dance space, welcoming visitors throughout the week.
About Pixies

Formed in Boston in 1986, they built a sound around violent dynamic swings between hushed passages and full on noise, with Black Francis writing surreal lyrics about aliens, incest and biblical carnage over Joey Santiago's slashing guitar.
