Patronaat is one of the ten largest alternative pop music venues in the Netherlands, established in 1984 in a former gymnasium of a Catholic boys school in Haarlem. The current building, which opened in September 2005 following a major renovation, contains a main hall with capacity for 1,000, a smaller hall for 300, and a two storey café with a small stage for free concerts and DJ sets. The venue now organizes approximately 450 activities annually attracting around 135,000 visitors, programming across indie, rock, metal, jazz, electronic and other forms of pop music.
About Tusky
Tusky keep their live appearances rare, which only makes the shows themselves hit harder. The Dutch skate punk band plays with a raw, chaotic energy that turns venues into swirling moshpits and crowdsurfing free for alls. With guitarist Magic Tom in the fold, their already abrasive sound picks up an extra jolt.
