Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.
About Zeno
Zeno makes hip hop that pulls from multiple genres, built around a lyrical style his own words describe as visual and poetic. His debut album, 'Aan De Rand Van Het Ravijn Bloeien De Mooiste Bloemen', caught the attention of Het Parool, which called it a beautiful melancholic record that deserves a much wider audience.
