About Saxyon

Saxyon Trio is a saxophone based chamber group that likes to take Russian classics and rework them for a small ensemble. Their programmes often circle around Modest Mussorgsky and Dmitri Shostakovich. A centrepiece is Mussorgsky's Songs and Dances of Death, which the trio has arranged for their own line up.
