Doornroosje in Nijmegen was founded in 1970 as a creative activities center in a squatted school building, initially serving as a gathering place for hippies. The venue became known as one of the first places in the Netherlands where cannabis was openly available. It programmed many bands, often before they achieved wider recognition.
About The Ghost Inside
Few bands have had to rebuild the way The Ghost Inside did. A 2015 tour bus collision killed both drivers and left several members in critical condition, with drummer Andrew Tkaczyk losing a leg after a ten day coma.
