Few bands have had to rebuild the way The Ghost Inside did. A 2015 tour bus collision killed both drivers and left several members in critical condition, with drummer Andrew Tkaczyk losing a leg after a ten day coma. The fact that they came back at all is remarkable, and the 2019 comeback show at The Shrine in Los Angeles sold out in four minutes flat. That night, vocalist Jonathan Vigil admitted he had no idea whether it would be their last show or one of a hundred more. Out of El Segundo, California, the band plays melodic metalcore with real weight behind it. Their Epitaph Records debut Get What You Give hit the Billboard 200 at number 88, and Dear Youth climbed even higher to number 63. After the crash and a years long recovery, they released a self titled album in 2020 and kept going from there. Their sixth studio album Searching for Solace arrived in April 2024, proof that The Ghost Inside have no intention of stopping.
