About
Wage War started out in Ocala, Florida in 2010 under the name Empires, went through a couple of name changes, and eventually landed on a sound that blends metalcore grunt with melodic hooks clean enough to pull in fans well outside the hardcore bubble. Signed to Fearless Records in 2015, they hit the ground running with their debut album Blueprints and kept building momentum through Deadweight and Pressure, racking up appearances on Vans Warped Tour and opening slots for heavy hitters like Disturbed, Parkway Drive and August Burns Red. Their fourth album Manic arrived in 2021, followed by an acoustic companion piece called The Stripped Sessions in 2022. The band widened their palette even further with Stigma in 2024, drawing on everything from djent and nu metal to pop textures while keeping the dual vocal dynamic between Briton Bond's unclean delivery and Cody Quistad's melodic singing right at the core.
