About Joe Hicks
Joe Hicks is a San Francisco soul and R&B singer whose biggest claim to fame might be the company he kept. In 1969 he cut "I'm Goin' Home" backed by the Family Stone's own rhythm and horn section, with Sly Stone writing and producing it for his Stone Flower label. It also came out on Scepter.
