Vera is a music venue in Groningen that evolved from a reformed student association into a left wing youth centre in the 1970s, hosting bands from the Netherlands and abroad. The venue became an official pop stage in 1986. The building retains the Ichthus fish symbol from its earlier incarnation as S.S.R.G., which has become part of Vera's visual identity.

Rooted in the underground scene of Den Haag, The Velcro blend surf, punk and psychedelic fuzz into a sound that feels like it could short circuit at any moment. The energy is raw and physical, the kind that tends to produce sweaty rooms, moshpits and a general sense of beautiful disorder.
