ARGY and ARTBAT are bringing their NEWORLD concept to the Petra Theater in Athens on July 3, 2026, an open air theater built inside a former quarry.

ARGY and ARTBAT have announced a one off show in Athens as part of their joint NEWORLD project. The event takes place on Friday 3 July 2026 at the Petra Theater, an impressive open air stone amphitheatre built inside a former quarry. The show is presented by Primer and Archegon, under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation.
The NEWORLD concept was first introduced at Tomorrowland 2025 and goes well beyond a traditional DJ performance. Visuals and sound are designed as a single continuous narrative, making the evening feel more like a cinematic, immersive experience than a standard festival set. For the Athens edition, exclusively new visuals are reportedly being developed and created specifically for the occasion.
ARGY is known for his melodic techno, progressive textures and deep, evolving soundscapes, shaped by performances at stages like Tomorrowland, Ibiza, Ultra and Coachella. ARTBAT complements that with powerful, emotionally charged sets built for large scale festival moments. According to the announcement, the combination of both artists should deliver an evening that can not only be heard but truly felt.
The support acts are MĪMĪ x FY, with a warm up set provided by Frankie Lluc. Attendees can choose from GA, VIP and Backstage VIP tickets, with the higher priced tiers offering access to a spot right behind the DJ booth. Several ticket categories are said to have already sold out.
For Dutch music fans considering a summer trip, the evening pairs a unique location with two names who have made a real mark on the European electronic music scene. The Petra Theater, with its raw stone walls and open air setting, provides an unusual backdrop for electronic music and sets this show apart from your average club night or festival performance.
