Neurosis is coming to Europe: the revitalized metal band will perform at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg on April 17, 2027, alongside an extensive American tour.

Neurosis has announced an extensive North American tour running from October 2026 through January 2027, capped off by a performance at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg on April 17, 2027. For Dutch metal fans, that last piece of news is especially welcome: the legendary Californian band will be returning to the Netherlands for the first time in years, and they'll be doing it at one of the most respected stages for heavy and experimental music in Europe.
The tour kicks off on October 16 and 17 in San Francisco at the iconic Fillmore, then moves on to Brooklyn, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, Boston, and Los Angeles. The Boston show on December 12 is part of the Saddest Day Festival, organized by Converge, with Coalesce also added to the lineup. The Los Angeles show at The Wiltern on January 2, 2027 wraps up the American leg. At Roadburn in Tilburg, Neurosis will share the bill with artists including Emma Ruth Rundle.
The tour is the next step following a remarkable comeback. Back in March of this year, An Undying Love for a Burning World dropped completely out of nowhere, with no prior announcement whatsoever. The album is the band's first new material in ten years, as the previous record Fires Within Fires came out back in 2016. Both Pitchfork and Consequence have praised it as one of the best albums of the year so far.
Worth noting is the change in lineup. Co founder Scott Kelly left the band in 2022 after admitting to domestic abuse. His spot has been taken by Aaron Turner, known from Isis, Sumac, and Old Man Gloom, who already toured with the band this summer. Turner brings a fresh vocal and guitar dimension to the band's sound.
Support acts vary from night to night, with names including Terry Gross, Kowloon Walled City, Uniform, Primitive Man, Mr. Phylzzz, Great Falls, and Trigger Object appearing on the bill on different evenings. Tickets are already available in presale through Ticketmaster, with general sales starting September 11 at 10 AM local time.
