Jera On Air has announced a fresh batch of acts for its 2027 edition. Simple Plan and John Coffey are the most eye catching additions, joined by seventeen other acts. That means the first version of the poster is already filling up nicely, though the lineup is far from complete and more names will follow over the coming months.

At the top of the poster are the headliners announced earlier. In early September, the festival revealed Lorna Shore as its first main act. The deathcore band was later joined by Dropkick Murphys as the second headliner. The American group mixes Irish folk with punk and is a guarantee for a wild crowd in the field. Which day the band will close on is not yet known. With these two names, the tone for the festival has been firmly set, although one forum reader points out that the newly announced names themselves are not marked as headliners.

Jera On Air takes place from June 24 to 26, 2027 in Ysselsteyn, in the province of Limburg, and is all about metal, punk rock and hardcore. The festival runs entirely on volunteers. That earns it some recognition too: this year Jera On Air won the Festileaks Festival Award for Most Dedicated Festival, following last summer's scorching hot edition.

If you're already sold, you can order tickets now. Early bird weekend tickets cost 219 euros. Once those are gone, regular tickets go on sale for 239 euros. If you want to stay overnight on the site, you'll need a separate camping ticket for 40 euros. A parking ticket costs 30 euros, and there's also a gift voucher available if you want to surprise someone. Day tickets will go on sale later, expected to arrive alongside the announcement of the daily schedule.

For fans of heavy guitar music in the Netherlands, Jera On Air remains a regular summer destination in the south of the country. With headliners from both extreme metal and folk punk, and names like Simple Plan and John Coffey, the lineup is wide ranging. Over the coming months, the remaining days will fill up further.
