About
ABBA Dance takes a deliberate step away from straight imitation. Rather than recreating the Swedish pop legends note for note, this six piece live band puts its own contemporary spin on the ABBA catalogue, keeping the songs feeling fresh while staying true to the power that made them enduring classics. The setlist pulls from across the ABBA songbook, with crowd favourites like Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and The Winner Takes It All all getting the full live treatment. With six experienced musicians on stage, the show carries the kind of energy that only comes from a band that clearly enjoys what they are playing. The music connects across generations, and that seems to be exactly the point: not a nostalgia exercise, but a live celebration of songs that still get a room moving without any effort at all.
