About
Alex Apolline is a singer songwriter from a small town near Glasgow, Scotland, whose roots in theatre and storytelling shape everything she does. Her songs blend personal experience with lush arrangements and a cinematic sense of drama, pulling listeners into emotionally charged narratives that feel both intimate and expansive. Her debut EP, Tales of an Eldest Daughter, produced by Oscar Lang (known for his work with Beabadoobee, awfultune and Flyte), came out via Young Poet and introduced her ghostly, ethereal sound alongside lyrics exploring heartbreak, identity and the residue of youth. The single HIT ME WHERE IT HURTS pushed her profile further, crossing one million streams and earning playlist support from Spotify's New Music Friday UK as well as airplay on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Scotland. Her second EP, The Sun From Both Sides, marks a sharper and more self assured chapter, trading adolescent haze for something more sensual and direct.
