Alex Warren built his name as a social media personality before pivoting hard into music, and it turned out to be the right call. The Carlsbad, California native was a founding member of the TikTok collective the Hype House and had millions of followers before he released his first single in 2021. He signed with Atlantic Records in 2022 and spent the next couple of years building a devoted following with emotionally direct indie pop, singles like "Carry You Home" and "Burning Down" steadily climbing charts in the UK, Canada, and the US. The real breakthrough came in early 2025 when "Ordinary" took on a life of its own after Warren performed it on a Love Is Blind reunion episode. It shot to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped charts across Australia, Canada, and the UK, where it became the longest running number one by an American male singer in the history of the UK Singles Chart. His debut album, You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), came out in September 2024, and a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist followed.
