About
Also known as: Amira Elkefy
Amira Elfeky is a Los Angeles based singer and songwriter whose sound pulls from goth metal, nu metal, and alternative metal, with a streak of post hardcore intensity running through all of it. Her influences read like a playlist from a very specific era of heavy music, think Evanescence, Linkin Park, Deftones, and System of a Down, but she folds in unexpected touchstones like Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga to keep things interesting. She released her debut EP Skin to Skin in March 2024 and followed it up quickly with Surrender in March 2025, both produced and mixed by Zakk Cervini. The momentum has been building steadily. She landed a feature on "Judgement Day" from the Architects album The Sky, the Earth and All Between, and her recent videos for tracks like "Save Yourself" and "Forever Overdose" show a clear artistic vision taking shape. She is also a nominee for the 2025 Heavy Music Awards in the Best International Breakthrough Artist category, which feels about right for where she is headed.
